Welcome to Pacific Inn of Redwood City

The Pacific Inn of Redwood City offers travelers a practical and comfortable stay in the heart of San Mateo County. Nestled conveniently on El Camino Real, this modest 3.5-star motel stands out for its affordability and inviting atmosphere, making it an appealing choice for visitors exploring the vibrant Redwood City area or those seeking easy access to nearby Stanford University and San Francisco International Airport.

Guests often highlight the roomy accommodations, complete with two queen beds and thoughtful amenities, including an in-room jacuzzi tub that provides a soothing retreat after a long day of travel or work. The bed quality receives consistent praise for comfort, helping travelers rest well. Though some rooms can feel a bit cramped and occasionally stuffy due to limited air conditioning, simple fixes like fresh air help maintain a pleasant environment. The recent renovations that brought a fresh, clean aesthetic to the rooms and bathrooms underline the brand’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

The hotel's complimentary services, such as free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a continental breakfast, enhance its strong value proposition. While the breakfast is not elaborate—especially on weekends—it is described as tasty and supported by friendly, approachable staff who contribute to a welcoming vibe. The design of the bathroom with an external sink and mirror is a notable plus, allowing more convenience when multiple guests prepare for their day.

One cannot overlook the Pacific Inn’s practical location, just a short distance from key regional attractions and transit options, making it a smart base for business travelers and tourists alike. The motel's accessibility features further broaden its appeal. However, prospective guests should note the absence of amenities like air conditioning, a fitness center, and a shuttle service, which might be a consideration for some.

The staff's service is generally polite if not extraordinary, delivering a no-fuss experience. The property maintains a clean, family-friendly environment, although vigilance against occasional smoking in non-smoking areas remains important.

In essence, the Pacific Inn of Redwood City embodies a solid mid-tier hotel experience, balancing convenience, comfort, and cost-efficiency. It is ideal for travelers who value simplicity and restfulness without the need for extensive luxury. The inn’s calming tubs, decent breakfast options, and proximity to major Silicon Valley landmarks make it a worthy choice for a restful stay in Redwood City.

Got a good deal on Groupon, upgraded to a non smoking room upon arrival for $30 more. Front desk service is not excellent but they are not rude either. Breakfast on the weekends is continental but delicious and the staff there was very friendly. The bed was super comfy and the jacuzzi really hit the spot. Everything in the room was great except the rolling chair at the desk didn't roll, and I actually needed to use it... Can't wait till my next stay here it's one of my favorite places to stay, consistently good!

The beds were comfortable and clean. The pillows were clean and comfortable as well. The towels were clean. The rooms looked nice but were a little stuffy and very cramped for having 2 queen beds. The heater smelled like something burning when we turned it on so we had to open the windows to air out the room. The jacuzzi tub had a big scum ring in it and had grime in the bottom but easily rinsed out with minor scrubbing. The cost of the room was good. The continental breakfast was nice with a comfortable covered outdoor patio for eating if you preferred dining outside of the small breakfast area. Really overall the good easily outweighed the bad. I enjoyed our stay.

Everything a good motel needs to be. Our room was very clean and had been remodeled recently. Nice big bathroom with the sink and mirror outside the bathroom so more than one person at a time can get ready. Good breakfast and even had snacks in the lobby after hours. Friendly staff. We will definitely be back. Only drawback was the stinkin' people smoking at a smoke free motel!

My wife and I were completely surprised by the quality of this place! We were expecting just a room for the night but ended up with an in room jacuzzi for under $100, that's hard to argue with. Viraj at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The breakfast attendant was this super nice lady who's name I didn't catch. Unfortunately they don't serve a hot breakfast on weekends but what they had was fruit, a choice of 4 cereals, a bunch of breads, and amazingly good coffee! Seriously this place was a little gem in the SF area. Also best night's sleep we've had in a week of travelling. Big, comfy bed, lots of pillows, just a very pleasant experience in every way. I highly recommend staying here!

This is a SHELTER for homeless people accessible ONLY through Samaritan House and not a guaranteed option vs a bed in a congregate setting.
